The latest icon for Singapore, Gardens by the Bay is the ultimate manifestation of what this city state is all about. Singapore, being devoid of any significant natural environment and heritage, has always relied heavily on man-made structures to reinvent the city and elevate its identity in the international stage.

Iconic Showroom Gallery

Name: The POD
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Function: On-site sales office cum showroom gallery for the Petaling Jaya Commercial City (PJCC) project.

The form is inspired by water droplets to create this fluid and dynamic building. There is an infinity reflecting pond designed to enhance Feng Shui of the surrounding place. Feng Shui or the Chinese traditional environmental design is widely practiced in this region.









Organic Building To Put Kaohsiung On The World Map

The form of the building proposed by Paolo Cucchi Architects is inspired by a sea creature emerges from the sea and lands itself on the site. It create bold statement aims to elevate Kaohsiung onto the world stage. Various amenities like cafe, retail and public places are incorporated into this building to enhance the social interaction in the entire complex.

Digital Aesthetics With Traditional Materials

Name: The Lanxi Curtilage

Location: International Intangible Cultural Heritage Park, Chengdu, China
Unique Feature: Using modern computer graphics to generate digital aesthetics of water movement for the buildings facade. Traditional building material of blue bricks were laid manually to achieve this digital visual effects.
